There are three types of scholarships:
1. College Scholarships-Each college and university has their own scholarships to award to students. Please check with your institution to see what scholarships are available. This information can be found on the school's financial aid website.
2. National Scholarships-There are thousands of national scholarships available to students. Many of these scholarships go unclaimed every year because no one applies for them. See below the financial aid website listing for more scholarship search engines.
3. Local Scholarships-published in the online Scholarship Apps page. These are local scholarships that are awarded by local organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Churches, Rotary Clubs, American Legion, VFW, Optimists, etc... In addition to the scholarships posted on our webpage don't hesitate to check with your parents and other adults for any possible scholarships they may offer.

AVIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The AEA Educational Foundation has awarded more than $1 million to students seeking careers in the aircraft electronics and aviation maintenance industry. Girl's & Boy's State Scholarships
Several universities offer renewable Missouri Girl's/Boy's State scholarships. Truman State & University of Missouri are a few of the universities that offer a limited number of competitive $1,000 renewable scholarships.

FEDERAL STUDENT AID - TEACH GRANT
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to students who agree to teach for four years at an elementary school, secondary school, or educational service agency that serves students from low-income families and to meet other requirements. Contact the financial aid office at the school where you will be enrolled to find out whether the school participates in the TEACH Grant Program and to learn about the programs of study at the school that are TEACH-Grant-eligible.
