SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Some organizations will dismiss a handwritten application.
There are three different types of scholarships.
1) College Based Scholarships- There are several possibilities here. First being the Merit Based Scholarships- these are based on your GPA, ACT score, Grades, and class rank. Second, could be department scholarships based on the major you are selecting. Third would be other scholarships that the college or university has resources for. Check with each college you research to see what is available.
2) National Scholarships- these are offered nation wide, therefore there is a smaller chance of receiving them. However, this is where underclassmen and Juniors may have the possibility of getting started early. Links to these scholarships are listed immediately below.
3) Local Scholarships- these have a small pool of applicants and give you a higher chance of winning.
